It's flower time

Still the beginning of the week, the vines start their flowering.
In first merlot's grapevine start, and after the cabernet sauvignon. The last grape variety to be in flower is petit verdot.
If the weather is good and hot, the flower time can last only one week.

Chateau du Retout has been award during the 2010 agricultural show : Concours de Bordeaux - Vins d'Aquitaine.
Our 2008 vintage received a gold medal.
